Red Braised Pork Belly

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cut pork belly into 2-3cm cubes
  2. Heat oil, medium-high
  3. Cook till light brown, then remove from pan
  4. Bring cooking wine to boil
  5. Add ginger, dark soy, salt and pork
  6. Simmer on low heat for ~40m (20m then stir)
  7. Add sugar cubes, high heat till it caramelises

Notes

Serve with rice and fried green veg (bok choy) or green salad
