Hungarian Style Goulash

Time: 20 min prep + 2 hrs cook Serves: 8

Method

  1. Dice potatoes, prepare stock. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Coat casserole pot in cooking oil. Combine paprika, flour, and fennel in casserole pot. Brown in medium-low heat. Empty into a bowl.
  3. Brown onion in casserole pot, still soft.
  4. Add meat back in to pot, stock, undrained crushed tomatoes, tomato paste. Bring to boil.
  5. Bake for 45min.
  6. Add diced potatoes, bake for 45mins.
  7. Stir in oregano and rice.
