Cashewnut Chicken

serves 6

Marinade

1Tb chinese cooking wine
1Tb soy sauce
2tsp seasame oil
500g chicken

Ingredients

1/2 tsp garlic powder (or mince)

1/2tsp ginger powder (or mince)

1cup chicken broth

2Tb raw sugar (or the unhealthy version: 3Tb white sugar)

2Tb soy sauce

2Tb oyster sauce

2Tb hoisin sauce

2tsp cornstarch + 2tsp water slurry

1/2cup cashew nuts

1kg frozen veg

Method

Dice chicken and marinade
Defrost frozen veg
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a pot
Brown chicken in wok. On the side, boil the sauce in the pot
Add defrosted veg
Add boiling sauce
Boil for a bit then serve
